Bank regulators, Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) handed in a proposal for a new draft of rules focused on how large financial institutions measure risk.
The proposal was submitted to the Office of Management and Budget, proposing changes to what lawmakers have coined the Basel endgame.
